Annually, a two-week training programme on controlled clinical trials is conducted. This programme seeks to impart training in methodological issues concerning clinical trials and build competencies in the areas of protocol development and efficient conduct of clinical trials. The training encompasses design, conduct, analysis and evaluation of clinical trials following Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. Statistical principles for clinical trials constitute an integral part of this Course.
