A 4-week training programme on the applications of selected statistical techniques in epidemiological studies is proposed. This programme is intended for in-service medical research scholars. On successful completion of the training programme, the participants would be in a position to use appropriate statistical techniques to analyze epidemiological data. They will also be trained to interpret results obtained through standard statistical software packages. The techniques to be taught include multiple regression, logistic regression, survival analysis etc.
